Boot cleats, hmmmmm?

Not sold on these yet. Spent a lit of money and my guess is they will not hold as aggressively as I would like. I also glued them in with a dab of a quality boat adhesive in the higher number;) in case I cant say whos. So 3 only because these will definitely need to be tested to go any higher

A good option for better traction in states/countries that outlawed felt!

I wish they were a little thicker to provide better traction. The thickness should be closer to the thickness of the PRO Star cleat thickness. Also, adding 5 extra screws in each package would be a nice gesture on behalf of the Simms company, or at least provide an up-sale option for a bag of 5 or 10 spare screws!

I feel like I could climb trees with these

Easy to install (used a little aqua-seal for better retainment). Fantastic traction on slippery rocks and underwater debris. I checked the studs after long day, all are still in place and tight.

Cleats need to protrude more

The quality of the cleats and studs is very high. BUT, I found that that the star clears sit nearly flush to the surrounding rubber tread, making them ineffective. It would be better if they sat proud of the surrounding tread so they can really bite into slippery rocks. I added washers underneath the cleats to make them protrude more, which helped greatly.

Wading Insurance

I wouldn't go without using these on my wading boots. They keep me wading securely and safely in slippery stream conditions, like investing in wading insurance.

Coverage not as advertised.

The on-line description says package is good for two pair of boots. The received package says one pair of boots. So too expensive for me, returned. They look like they would work well but opted for a much less expensive option.

Hardbite

They seem to work well, but you better keep your eye on them, they do work loose And at the cost of them, you don't want to have to buy another pack!
