Simplify Goggles
Trying to pick your line with foggy goggles is like being blindfolded and told to decimate a piñata—in other words, it's a tough endeavor. However, with the SHRED Simplify Goggles, your mountain navigation is made all the more amenable, or in the very least, optically streamlined. The NoDistortion technology provides crystal clear vision, while the anti-fog treatment and hydrophobic vents keep fogging at bay. The Carved Cyl lenses tout a tapered, lateral thickness which adapts to the eye, and the Shred Wide design offers maximum peripheral vision, so you're able to pick and choose all you want.

Amazing goggles with fatal fogging issue
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I have very mixed feelings about these goggles. On the one hand, I absolutely love them - the fit is super comfortable, the field of view is INSANE (there's virtually no frame in my periphery), the lens clarity and contrast boost technology makes everything look beautiful and helps in low light, and they look great to boot. However, I have experienced far worse fogging with these goggles than any other I've owned, and that's after only 10-15 total days of use. I want to start off by mentioning that I take great care of my goggles. I never wipe the inside of the lens, I only use the microfiber bag to wipe the outside, and I always let them dry out after a day of skiing. I also never put my goggles on top of my helmet when it's snowing. Despite taking all of these precautions, if I sweat at all while skiing or if there's any snowfall, these goggles become a terrible foggy mess. It's so bad that I've had to resort to bringing a second pair of goggles to the mountain as a backup on days like this. If it's a dry day or you don't sweat at all, these goggles are perfect. But if you frequently ski on snowy days or work up a sweat (from uphill travel or otherwise), I would look elsewhere.

Near Perfect Goggle...with STYLE!

The SHRED Simplify is my favorite goggle to-date that I have ever used, primarily because of its simple interchangeable design and huge field of vision. The goggle shape contours well around the face for a comfortable fit and you will hardly notice the frame in your field of vision at all. The Simplify is stylish yet sleek, matching function with appearance for a perfect balance. And as a company, SHRED is making sure to keep our wild places protected, by donating 1% of your purchase to advocacy groups like Protect Our Winters (POW). The SHRED Simplify goggle will be in my pack on every ski tour, winter and spring...and it should be in yours too! A stylish google that you can rely on, the Simplify is simply a great goggle.
