    Pole game strong

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Best poles on the market. I had my last pair of scott poles made with the same S4 aluminum for 10 years, finally had to replace them due to the strap breaking, but the pole itself was still in great shape. Some minor bends here and there but a lesser pole would have definitely broken.

Expecting the same kind of longevity from these. Same comfortable grip you would expect from Scott. Love the pink color as well. Best surprise is that they came with 2 sets of baskets! The standard basket as well as the powder basket.

    Best poles in the game

Scott hasn’t always been making the best poles. They are super solid and I’ve never broken a pair. That being said, they don’t have much weight to them, which is nice. I love the SRS straps, if you get your pole hung up on anything you will be sending a thank you letter to Scott for not having your arm ripped off. I never used to wear straps in fear of getting hung up, but now I feel comfortable wearing them. I’ve never had a problem with the straps popping out unwarranted.

    Excellence!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Scott poles have a long history in the ski industry. Built to be strong and light. Others try but cannot compete. Aluminum ferrules, engineered baskets and swaged (thickening pole wall through the taper) all make Scott poles the best on the market.

    Amazing poles

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These poles are fanastic. Used them in fresh powder, crud and some icy conditions...they did just what they were supposed to. The poles are sturdy, but not hefty and the grip is perfect. I have large palms and long fingers- for a girl - they were perfect. Get poles for men and some women. If you have small hands, this may not be the pole for you.

    SRS straps are a problem.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The SRS straps are a solution to problem I have never had. In 38 years of crashing I have never thought "I really wished my pole straps would have come off". And, they have introduced a problem I didn't need. The strap will just pop off at random times skiing. Major problem.

    Great Poles

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great poles, light weight, and a good look to them. Also come with the connector, of course. I do agree with another review that the straps are a little small.

    No Strippers On This Pole

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's a beefy aluminium ski pole. My only beef is that the wrist straps are short and there isn't much velcro holding them on when adjusted out for cold weather gloves. I would like to see a little more adjustment in these.

    Unanswered Question

Do these poles come with both baskets? The pictures show powder on some colors and standard on others
