    Hans doesn't like labels.

Finely tuned to deliver equal parts control and comfort, the Schwalbe Hans Dampf Addix 29in Tire is a jack-of-all-trades that maxes out your fun levels on any type of terrain. The grippy TrailStar compound option delivers tons of traction and control when cornering at high speeds, making its case for your go-to front tire option, while the PaceStar option provides a lower rolling resistance for enhanced speed to (you guessed it) make it perfect for your rear tire choice. And both versions use the lightweight, yet robust SnakeSkin sidewall protection that's built to endure abuse on the trail, is easy to fit, and has a tubeless-ready design. It's a match made in heaven for those looking to go anywhere and ride any terrain.

    • All-terrain, versatile, fast, and grippy tire for varying trails
    • Different compound options focus on either speed or grip
    • SnakeSkin sidewall protection holds up against wear and tear
    • Tread provides reliable control and sheds loose mud or dirt
    • Item #SCH002Q

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I was initially running these guys front and rear on my SC HTLT and loved them. I had heard from friends that the tires had the reputation of not being durable but I had read some recent online reviews stating this was no longer the case. After a couple months of moderate use the rear tire was fairly worn down and then tore on a small rock garden. Replaced the tire and the new tire tore in two places within 20 minutes of their maiden voyage. Grippy and fun while they held air, but I think I am going to give Maxxis a try.
