Very nice, but not perfect
Liked the 11s better, but these were still 8/10. Blowouts in the uppers on both shoes right at the pinky toe, seems like a common issue for me with Saucony. Make the uppers stronger at the edges

Maybe the Best Trail Shoe for Everyday Runners
Don't do a ton of trail running so wanted something that was highly-rated and cheaper. These shoes checked both boxes. And they did not disappoint. I used them for a 50K and a 10-hr this summer, as well as for a 15K race this fall. They fit perfectly (true to size); never too snug, with a wide toe box. The run this fall was dirt, roots, and leaves, and I was really impressed with the tread of the Peregrine - never slipped. Even if you're a more casual trail runner like me, I would highly recommend these.

Slightly small..heel wore through
I found these shoes slightly under sized..as such the inner wall of the shoe at my heel was a point of pressure. As usual I expect a break-in period before my foot seats into the shoe but unlike all my other shoes from Saucony this never happened. The pressure, Although not painful or causing blisters did agitate the back of my heel but more surprisingly the inside of the shoe which contacts my heel has split and rendered the shoe unusable. Have tried many brands of shoes before discovering Saucony and I now consider Saucony "My Brand" Although I am disappointed, my positive experiences with this brand continue to keep me faithful to the look, feel, quality, comfort l and longevity I have come to expect.

Love the peregrine.
This is my 2nd pair of saucony’s. First pair was the Kinvara 12’s which are awesome to run in . So comfortable yet I can feel the road surface with the 4 mm heel drop. I was stoked to buy the peregrins for trails . They feel equally as awesome to run trails in !

Just plain great shoes.
For me and my feet these are the best lightweight shoes I have ever worn, 2nd pair.

Light and nimble, great daily run trail shoe
Relatively light weight, very nimble on moderately technical single track trails. Good traction on most surfaces, some slippage on wet rocks and logs. Laces are a bit stretchy, sometimes needing to be readjusted partway through a run.

Superb all-around
I bought the Vizio Peregrine 12 for trail runs and long walks with my dogs in nature preserves around town. They are excellent all-around. Relatively light yet rugged and stable enough to delivery a soft landing on rocks, tree trunks and other uneven surfaces. Pleasantly surprise by the lack of fatigue after extensive trail runs that would typically lead to some soreness from the expected pounding away from regular street sessions. Also like surface membrane - dirt and skid marks have largely vanished with a light wipe. Definitely recommend!

Nice, but not for me
When I ordered these I thought they were a dark grey, but the were in fact black, which is not what I wanted. They are true to size in length, but I found them to be narrower than I liked in the toe. I ended up returning them.
