Sense 5” shorts
Love these shorts, minimalist feel with great support and no chafing on those 100 km races. Highly recommend.

Inner liner is tiny / loose (you’ll flash people)
Inner liner is tiny / loose (you’ll flash people). Will not keep your junk contained. Real bummer because they seem like nice shorts otherwise. Wish I could return them. They honestly seem like they have women’s underwear in them. Not sure why these are in the men’s category. Not adding a photo because too many people in forest park already saw the issue with these shorts lol.

Best Running Shorts
These are the best running shorts I own. The material is soft and light weight with just the right amount of stretch and the pockets are really convenient. They are in front instead of in back or the sides. The reflecting details are helpful for early morning city runs and the length of the short is great for my preference which I realize is a personal thing. If I had one small quibble it would be that the drawstring material is too stretchy so i really have to put some effort into tying them. It's not a problem s much as an observation. Oh, plus the color is really cool.

Sense shorts gone downhill :-(
I have both the previous generation Sense and Sense Pro shorts and looked to these as another pair for the summer. These previous shorts had elastic waist built-in that gave a *perfect* fit in sizing and comfort. The GOOD: Superb materials as always The BAD: Feels less secure than previous generation, badly fitted inner brief The inner brief is way too loose and does not keep "everything" in, and is also mis-aligned on the stitching as it gathers to one side. This does suggests I may have gone for a size smaller that could have fixed these problems, but this shows inconsistency with Salomon's sizing. I def will *not* be buying any future Salomon shorts with waist-tie.

Perfect shorts
Perfect running shorts with integrated underwear. Light and breathable material, zipped pocket, rubber and lace in the waist.

Very comfortable shorts
These are very comfy shorts. The only thing they are lacking is a zipped pocket so you can't wear these of you need to take your front door key with you!

Excellent all around short
Like most Salomon running gear, these shorts are great. A very thin waistband is a neat idea and the pocket along the front waist easily secures a few gels. They are very lightweight and minimize chaffing. I use them on everything from long runs to short, interval workouts.

Great short!
Just got the short, but immediately put in a 27 mile effort on a muggy day. I didn't think about the shorts once... I am more of a 3"-4" shorts fan, but these are light and the fabric didn't bother me in any way. The brief was unnoticeable. I am a size 30-31 and I ordered a Small and they fit great after returning a Medium.
