Broke on day 1
I was starting to get used to these but they broke after only a few runs on the first day. I took a chance on them and will be switching back to a different brand. 2 stars because maybe I got a bad batch of plastic or something. Solomon customer service took months to even respond.

Responsive, Surfy, Comfortable, Light, Purple
These bindings are awesome. I had a pair of Salomon District for the last eight years but finally broke one of the heel pieces (most likely because I snowmobile access ski with them and abuse my equipment more than most). The Shadow Fit technology was a game changer for comfort and feel while still being responsive enough for big lines. My knees and joints appreciate the forgiveness when riding and they have a really surfey vibe to them.

Responsive, comfortable, great for a former skater
I’ve been riding some old Salomon rhythms for a few years now. Upgraded my set up this year and I must say these bindings are incredible and as someone who grew up skateboarding these gave me immensely more confidence on my board. The shadowfit is just what the doctor ordered! It gives me just enough play that I can get my foot exactly how it want it for whatever I’m doing. But don’t let that play fool you, when you want responsiveness it is right there. Quick cuts through the trees, no problem, long hard carves, also easy to initiate and hold. If you have a skate background I don’t think you will be disappointed in these!

One of the Most Responsive Bindings I've ridden
I've now owned 2-different iterations of the Hologram Binding (including a pair of Defenders), and can say without hesitation that the Hologram's are among the most Comfortable and Responsive bindings I've ridden as a Snowboarding Instructor for over 20-yrs. I used to be an Avid Forum / Burton board & binding advocate, but since switching mostly to Salomon products within the past 3-yrs, I wish now that I would've been more open (even after Demo'ing over 100-boards in my lifetime). The ShadowFit system excels in tight Backcountry lines when split-second turns are needed. Paired w/ my Assassin Pro & Malmute boots, I dare anyone to try to make this set-up chatter at high-speeds! (Impossible). The past 2-season have been among the most enjoyable / COMFORTABLE seasons I've had in over 20-yrs.
