“Trail” pants that ripped on first run

They called these trail pants but on my first run with them a branch ripped a large hole straight through them. They are not strong enough to stand up to trail running. Was hoping they would last longer than one run.

Great fit and style, but were "too transparent"

I bought a black pair and have been thoroughly pleased. So, I ordered this white pair and was pleased with the fit and style, but you could easily see through them...any undergarment was clearly visible. (And don't think about going "commando.")

Lives up to its advertising!

I bought a pair two months ago and liked them so much, I bought another pair!

Not for trail races

I was confused by: "Waterproofness Storm Ready". These trousers cannot be used for trail-races.

No Waterproof

In fairness, it doesn't say it is waterproof in the description, but it says "Storm ready". It is only waterproof in the front, but the back is not (DWR). So it won't comply with trail races regulations. But the Pertex® material looks/feels nice if you are not bothered about the non-waterproof back.

Great Running Pants

I ran 4 miles on a 45 degree day with 20Mph gusts. No shorts underneath, and these pants did very well cutting wind and keeping warm. Seem to have a little extra fabric up front to take on small limbs and light brush. Material is Very light, soft, and a nice slim fit. 6'1" 206 pounds: a Large is a good fit. Don't forget that there are no pockets.

Nice update!

Great followup to my many-years-old (and still kicking) S-LAB trail pant which is delaminating and shedding its inner waterproofing layer and occasionally needs a wash hence the second pair

Good Piece of Kit

I pondered over the choice as these appeared to be a close-fitting pair of waterproof trousers, instead of 'regular walking waterproofs'. They are designed to fit over a pair of running tights, but can also work fine over standard trousers ... if these are not too bulky. A good choice in the end - and good waterproofing too!
