Why We Like The Salewa Alpinist Pro

For long mountaineering routes that have a little mix of it all, we step into the Salewa Alpinist Pro. The length adjustable straps prevent loose ends that could trip us up on traverses, while the mid-foot points and anti-balling plates ensure reliable traction on ice-crusted ridges. When things get vertical, the semi-rigid construction and micro-adjustable heel bail wheel deliver a confidence-boosting fit for precision, and the horizontal front points give a solid bite on both ice and rock.

Not reccomend

crayfish showed their face during the first journey. their front pulls a bit inward, but the big problem is unfastening the crampons. snow enters the clasp buckle, which blocks its unfastening. why was this solution used?
