Altitude Powerplay A30 Coil Deore E-Bike

When we are itching to get to the bike park but the lifts are still closed, the Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay is a clear choice. Dropping massive lines and climbing up and doing it all over again is the name of the game with the Altitude Powerplay, giving us the ability to ride downhill both ways. With 160mm of Smoothlink suspension backed by a powerful Dyname 4.0 motor, the Altitude Powerplay is a weapon for enduro riding and laps at our favorite downhill trails. Rocky Mountain implemented size-specific tunes to ensure optimal performance across all sizes, and their new Ride-4 adjustment system gives us four geometry settings to tailor our frame geometry to meet our riding style. With a 63.5-degree head tube angle in the slack position, the Altitude Powerplay slams steep terrain and chunky trails with pleasure, while the 75.5-degree seat tube angle ensures an efficient and upright position for climbing up to the top for another lap. To finish off the frame, the Altitude Powerplay is fitted with integrated downtube and chainstay protectors to keep our frame looking nice, and tubed internal cable routing has us bombing hills without our bike sounding like a maraca.

The Alloy 30 Coil Deore build of the Rocky Mountain Altitude Powerplay is stocked with components that sport incredible value and are fit for any trail rider. First up is Rocky Mountain's Form alloy frame, made with premium materials for an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, which gives us confidence in sending it through the jump line. Next, Shimano's Deore 11-speed drivetrain sports a wide range and a reliable, value-based build. Shimano MT4120 4-piston brakes keep us under control or steep descents, while the WTB ST i30 TCS 2.0 rims give us confidence plowing down chunky trails. The 170mm RockShox Domain RC fork gives us downhill-ready performance, and the Marzocchi Bomber CR rear coil shock is super plush and has a custom tune for optimal performance.
