X-Ride Disc 105 HD Complete Cyclocross Bike
With more cyclists embarking on gravel grinders and cyclocross races, you need a bike that can handle all manner of dirt, gravel, and grass adventures. Get the versatility you're looking for with the X-Ride Disc 105 HD Complete Cyclocross Bike from Ridley.
Kitted out with Shimano's impressively smooth Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes, the X-Ride delivers precise gear shifts and powerful braking in even the muckiest conditions. The FSA Omega crankset sports a 46 and 36 tooth chainring, working in harmony with a Shimano 105 11-30 tooth cassette to provide a massive range of gear choices to tackle any type of terrain. House brand Forza handles the cockpit controls during the ride, while a set of Fulcrum Racing Sport DB wheels wrapped in Donnelly's versatile MXP tires conspire to handle a wide range of surfaces.
Ridley fashions the X-Ride from triple butted 7005-T6 alloy with shaped seatstays keep energy-zapping vibrations from ruining your ride while out on the course. Ridley incorporates internal cable routing throughout for clean lines that are less likely to get contaminated as well as eliminating cable snags and rubs when shouldering the bike on a steep run-up or grabbing the top tube to navigate a set of barriers. Race-driven geometry paired with wide tire clearance means this bike is anxious to go fast while maintaining ample clearance for mud-caked tires if the fast going gets soggy.
This X-Ride comes outfitted with an Oryx Disc carbon fiber fork for a plush ride every time you clip in. This fork features a barely perceptible asymmetry that counters the torsional forces applied to the left fork leg during braking to reduce flex and promote a long fork life. You'll find stainless steel inserts in the dropouts that protect the carbon from damage, and a scuff plate affixed to the inner left fork leg to fend off errant rotors during hurried wheel changes and prevent gouging or scratching.

I'm 5'8" and usually ride 52-54cm frames. Is Ridley X-Ride Medium the right size or is it too big for me? Based on the X-Ride's size chart, S and M have little differences in terms of "Reach" and "Top tube" length. Also, the specs show this bike comes with Fulcrum Racing wheels, but the posted picture shows a different wheelset (Shimano RS). Which wheelset? Will appreciate your answer.
