Change your perception of entry-level boots the minute you slide your feet into the ultra-plush, super-secure fitting Ride Men's Rook Boa Snowboard Boot. Compared to other beginner-oriented boots, the Rook is a bonafide bargain, fusing the best of comfort and performance into a palatable price point that leaves cash for lift tickets and other gear upgrades.
Dialed with a progression-friendly, mid-soft flex that's similar to Ride's Orion Boot, the Rook delivers an optimum blend of mobility and support for riders honing their skills from blue-square groomers to first tracks through powdery bowls. Upgraded over the similarly spec'd Orion, the Rook's super-convenient Boa lacing system secures the boot's upper and lower zones with the quick spin of a dial. Suddenly, tightening the boots is a breeze, especially when you're making re-adjustments on the middle of the mountain.
Inside the Rook, you'll find a thermo-moldable Intuition Plush Foam liner that conforms to your foot's specific contours to eliminate uncomfortable pressure points and nasty hot spots. Internal J-bar support locks-down your heel to eliminate dreaded lift when you're mastering your heel-to-toeside carves. Lock Down Turbo liner lacing also keeps your heel nice and secure in the boot during high-speed maneuvers and regular riding scenarios. Toss in an impact-absorbing die-cut EVA footbed, as well as a lightweight Grip Sole for a well-rounded boot that's ready to take your riding to the next level.
