Love this jacket! It's roomy enough for layers but sleek enough to not feel bulky. Zippers are in all the right places, the chin area is big enough to accommodate everything you've got on underneath and still protect your face on the way down, and the length is perfect. It's a little noisy but hopefully that'll decrease with time. I've only taken this layer in the backcountry so far but I think it's burly enough it'll be great the resort too. Love it.
