Had a couple of other brands one of which shrank badly on washing. This seems to launder fine. Early days but fits well and looks like it will be durable.

The quality of these t shirts is great. They wash really well and the feel of the fabric is really soft. Wouldn't hesitate to get more.....and I have :-)

I have no problem in buy Rab clothing. It is the right size. The fabric never shrinks or fades in the wash. Wish all clothing has this quality.

An Ode to MeCo...
So Rab have dropped the Meco Tee in favour of this new one. I have two of them, and they are servicable quality items. The old meco tee was easily damaged, and I'm sure that is why they have updated it to this new design. BUT... The old meco was awesome!!! It could be worn year round, on the hottest day it was cool, on the coldest day it was the start of a perfect layering system. The neutral colours meant it could be worn with anything. Simply put, the most versatile and useful piece of clothing I have ever worn. As such, there has barely been a day in the last three years when I have not worn one! It was a Merino/synthetic blend that felt and looked like all natural fibre. As said though, the meco did tend to damage easily, but that was simply the price for a perfect garment. So this is to celebrate and mourn my favorite piece of clothing, now removed from the range by a company that seems to be updating for the sake of updating. Problems now fixed, and magic now gone. The new garment is servicable, but does not stand out. The colours look artificial, the skin feel is synthetic, the pattern is no longer neutral, the smell resistance is not as good... but it does look like it won't damage as easily. It is warm, but it can't be worn on a sunny day as a single protective layer like its predecessor. It is fine. It works. But it is not in the same league as the Meco 120! I guess now I will have to look around at light baselayers from other companies again, in hope of finding something as universal and useful as the now defunct Meco 120. Rab... I understand why you did it, but in your attempt to improve you have gone a long way backwards.

I really like this tee.
I really like this tee. Great quality, lightweight and quick drying. Useful for many activities, I use mine for hiking and running. The fit is excellent. Looks great front and back. Very much recommended.

Tried on a day hike
Tried on a day hike last week end, very comfortable. Wicks very well, great protection from strong sunlight. I am very happy. It was interesting to see the change in merino / polyester blend from previous versions of the merino long sleeved tee. This one definitely makes it into my pack.
