Why We Like The ShockWiz
Quarq's ShockWiz drastically improves ride quality and brings suspension tune dynamics into clearer focus for a large portion of the cycling population, us included. Arriving as a rather unassuming little square, ShockWiz houses an internal pressure sensor and microprocessor that pair to run diagnostics on your suspension while you ride. The system attaches to your air-sprung shock or fork's Schrader valve with a sleek hose that allows ShockWiz to collect 100 pressure readings per second for instant, continuous analysis to determine how well your suspension setup in working for you.

Great for Tuning Different Trails
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I use the shockwiz to tune my bike for trails and DH. I can definitely tell the difference in the bike's performance depending on the settings. The app makes it easy to save the settings. The only thing I recommend is to not get too hung up on fine tuning at first. Get the recommended settings and ride for a while before revisiting and fine tuning. Else you will go down a rabbit hole of changing settings excessively.

Take out the guesswork

Saw this only had 1 review that was negative -- This gadget needs more reviews! This thing is awesome for everyone from the tinkerer to the set-it-and-forget-it type. I've always had a tough time dialing in high & low-speed compression settings, they vary so wildly from one shock to the next or even across model years. It's awesome to have an absolute measurement of it and have help dialing them in to a reasonable setting. Takes some time to set up and get used to but worth it!

Didn't fit my bike set up....
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I have a stumpjumper st with a cane creek DB IL air rear shock on it, and there was no way to mount it to the shock. the frame extension is on the right, the valve to inflate the shock is on the left and if you try to put it on the top it hits the frame, and you can't put it on the bottom because the angle of the hose and the fittings doesn't allow it attach. Major bummer.
