Retina Clarity Goggle

The POC Retina Clarity Goggle features better optical performance than ever before, and it's got the technology (and name) to prove it. POC decided to join forces with Carl Zeiss, creator of precision optics, to create Clarity lenses that increase contrast and light, so you can clearly see the tracks, bumps, and turns before you. Unique lens coatings are mirrored in relation to distinct weather conditions, so you're always getting the best possible lens for the day, and the lens is also treated to ward off scratches and fog. Triple-layered face foam and a soft PU frame provide ultimate comfort and fit, while POC's sleek, classic style is always a win.

Good goggles, zero fuss!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My standard for goggles is that I pretty much want to put them on in the morning and never think about them again. I don't like fussing with the fit when I get a new pair, and I'm not interested in messing around with interchangeable lenses or worrying about whether the tint is going to be right from hour to hour. I tried these for a day, and they were pretty much exactly my speed! The frame plastic is flexible enough that they fit super nicely straight out of the box. If you've had trouble with other goggles being a little wide or gappy around the edges, these are totally worth a try. They just felt locked in as soon as I put them on, with no awkward gaps on the sides at all. I was also a fan of the easy compatibility with my POC Fornix helmet. I've had some trouble getting the extra snug, wide goggle strap on that helmet to snap in over some other goggles that have the buckle or adjusters really close to the center, but these seem to be wide set enough that it wasn't an issue at all. I didn't think to test it with my Smith helmets, but I think this set up would play really well with a lot of helmet brands. As far as the visibility, I tested the default Spektris Orange lens that came with it. For longterm use, I would maybe look at getting a real storm lens like POC's No Mirror Clarity to swap into these for really low light days, but the Spektris Orange seemed pretty hard to beat for variable conditions. We skied bumps all day in both super bright morning light & under cloud cover later in the afternoon, and they held up super well. I did get them to fog up a little once or twice on the lift when I was really trying to test the defogging, but they cleared up impressively fast. If you have a smaller face and you're looking for a pair of super straightforward, easy to get along with goggles, I would definitely give these a try!

Pretty Cool

Has a scratch treatment on them, which make it better for someone who is harder on googles. Saw every obstacle and turn with the Increased contrast and enhanced lighting. So was never was surprised by bumps and edges. Reason for the 4/5 five stars, it would fog up at times.

These have worked super well for me!

For a smaller face!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I tried these out because I have a smaller face and bigger framed goggles look absolutely ridiculous on me. I was hiking around in these at the resort so they fogged up just a tiny bit. Best used for chill resort riding. The color options are dope!

our daughter has a small face (she is 21) and she buys children/teen size goggles...just a suggestion -
