Why We Like The PEARL iZUMi Expedition Short
The PEARL iZUMi Expedition Short, built with recycled materials, is a lightweight short option with plenty of pocket space for our next ride. With two thigh pockets and a small centered rear pocket, our shorts alone can hold our phone, keys, and snacks. The Levitate Plus multi-density chamois provides the seated comfort we need for any ride, while a silicone print on the leg endings keeps our shorts in place.

After about eight rides ranging from 10 miles to 70 miles on two different bikes/saddles, I have to say I'm mostly disappointed in these shorts and would not recommend. The Good: -The cargo pockets are great and secure items nicely. -The waistband is very secure and does not ride up or fall down. The Bad: -The chamois on these is the most uncomfortable of any bibs or shorts I've owned. I have $30 no-brand shorts from Amazon that provide significantly better comfort than these. After just a few minutes on the bike, I start to feel uncomfortable. I was hoping they would get better with time, but that has not been the case. -The inseam is much longer than pictured or described. I'm 5'9" and ordered a small, but the cuff at the bottom reaches all the way to the knees and digs in at the back of the knee. I have to scrunch them up to make them more comfortable. For $100, I expected more comfort than what these shorts provide. If you're considering buying these shorts, I would encourage you to look elsewhere.
