Nice design, a little snug in the chest

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
large

Bought it as a mid-weight wind resistant layer for breezy spring/fall days or under a shell for 20-ish degree days while skiing. Works very well for those purposes. Nice material and construction but a bit snug in the chest. I bought a large which usually fits just a little loose in most brands.

Hands down the best fleece ever!

This is my favorite jacket to wear. It's perfect for a cold day up in the mountain shoveling snow or just standing around. I wear it any chance i get. It's super comfy and repels snow and rain really good.

PARK RANGER APPROVED

I originally bought one of these for my Advanced Wilderness first responder course (where it was being taught was in the Adirondacks in January). Thought another layer would be a good idea. However, I bought a few more. These are the best fleece, semi windproof layering pieces I own. The thickness of the fleece is the perfect amount!

End Game Mid Layer

The best mid layer I have ever owned and it's not even close. To start, this thing is warm. I wear this down to roughly 15 F / -10 C before I even look at my puffy... and that's while I am not moving. This mid layer is great for a layering system on cold days, replaced my lighter 3 season puffy for warmer months, and is my go to jacket when I leave the house in the winter. It fits super well and is super comfy to hike and lounge around in. It is extremely well built. You can tell this thing is gonna last many many years. It is also windproof as heck. I had this on Mt Marcy in roughly 60 mile an hour gusts in mid October (roughyl 50 F) and it felt like I was in my house. Not only did it keep me warm I felt no wind. I didn't even look at my hardshell (all my friends had immediately put their hard sheels on above treeline. This jacket is also slightly water resistant (not sure if that's intentional). In light rain water beads on the jacket and be shaken off. Moderate to heavy rain I still grab my hard shell, but it's nice that I don't have to grab that anytime light precipitation starts to come down. Basically this thing is perfect. I have not brought another mid layer with me on a hike since I bought this. I have multiple other flagship mid layers from other brands and they feel cheap compared to this. Seriously just buy this as your go to mid layer and never look back.

Great fleece

This fleece is warm and a great choice for cool days when a coat is more than I want to take with me.
