leaks chemical compounds onto skin
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I recently noticed that my skin and socks were extremely sticky after wearing these, almost as if coated by a colorless chalk. I finally turned them inside out to find an extremely fine white powder being extruded through the seam in the toe. It is odorless, white, and extremely hard to get off of your skin...

Disappointed
My feet has this coating sorta like dried soap, I hit the boots and yhis white powder dust keeps coming out. Gross and not sure if it's toxic.waiting to hear back from customer service.

Don't Waste Your Money
I really wanted tu like these booties. The first pair I purchase with money my in-laws have be as Christmas gift. I had my eye on them for several months. When I got them the aerogel material was leaking inside the left bottle. It took two months to twice them under warranty only to have the new pair leaking gel when I walk leaving a trail on the floor from the right bootie. Sad - not the quality I expect and customer service is even worse. Read the warranty it states 4 weeks to reply to email.

comfy but not for outdoors

I bought these and the North face with hard soles. I use the North face slippers all the time. Really great and even if I am walking outside in bad snow or other, it is rare anything gets inside. These aerogel booties are comfy when I am sitting in my office working, but I have to leave them in the office since I can't wear them outside at all. They have a sole, officially, but it sops up water and is not hardy at all.

Warm Feet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great around camp after a hard day busting trail. Surprising they don't slip much in snow

Great for the tundra and around the house!
lightweight & pack friendly, these puppies can be squished in your bag, taking up little space. Perfect for all adventures in any season, or wearing around the house! The bottom material of the shoes are holding up beyond expectations. Showing almost no signs of wear after a few solid months of use. I felt there was a short a break-in period with the cushioning. They do keep your feet warm and dry walking on packed snow, & they seem to wick away moisture pretty well.

Warm and comfortable
I got these as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves them so far. We do a lot of winter camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and these are perfect for that. I prefer a synthetic fill over down for footwear in the winter - they will still insulate if they get a little damp and they are a bit safer to wear around a fire - so that's why I chose this pair. It's really nice to have the cinch at the top to keep snow out. The soles on these booties are durable and grip well on snow. My boyfriend says they fit well and feel like walking on a cloud.

Good, but would love a good backcountry set
I love these, I take them backpacking when snow is on the ground, great for a hunt camp to get the feet out of the boots and into something breathable and warm. The grip on the bottom is terrible in slicker ice/snow conditions, would love to see a set of these with some actual grip, but lightweight and worth packing in.

Great Camp Shoes
Went backpacking through the Enchantments in WA late October. After hiking all day these were both unbelievably comfortable and warm as the temperatures dropped. Lightweight, easily packed, comfortable and warm made these perfect for the trip!
