What happened?

I bought one of these years ago and really liked it. It had a relatively low crown and The net lining of the crown kept the crown itself from resting on the top of my head. The new hat has a large floppy crown and the lining is the same size as the crown itself. I'm guessing that they change suppliers. It's simply not as well made.

Brim not wide enough to shade face and neck. Plus, brim is immalleable so it cannot be molded to the right shape.

I absolutely love it! Waited eagerly for it and was not disappointed. It's light and I get compliments often on the color! Many have asked where I bought it. I need protection from the sun because of Sjogrens syndrome. I have a dog who needs to go out. Early morning and early evening and whenever.

I have used this hat multiple times now and it provides great protection for my face. It is lightweight too.

3rd of these I have purchased. Only issue I have is the stains from sweating stains after a year of golf!!

Brim went wacky before ever wearing

I too had a version of this hat about 2016 or so. It was awesome. I saltwater fish and it was perfect, stayed on in the wind with the brim flipping down in my face, dried quickly and was cool. Lost that one and repurchased an about 2020/21 and put the hat in my truck to take to the boat a few weeks later. When I took the hat out of the back seat the brim was warped almost beyond usefulness. I have to wear the hat sideways so I can see where I'm going. Very disappointed.

Missing buttons from older version

Why they choose to get of the buttons on the side of the hat ‍♂️ It's so much better when you can prop up one or both sides and go full Aussie.

When the holy light breaks through the clouds and shines upon earth the plants bloom, the earth wakes, and summer begins. If one is of pale complexion this is a blessing and a curse. However, have no fear this hat is made of material strong enough to shield the bold light from your eyes and scalp. Have no fear walking in the bright light of day anymore

previously great product changed to cheap copy

I bought this hat first time years ago (2017?) and found it close to perfect. Sadly manufacturer decided to save money or something and later model was not true to size, inner net was significantly smaller than hat itself and made of super rough/hard plastic, not soft like in previous models, and brim went wacky from first wash so quality was so bad i stopped buying this brand. It was the best before changes.
