Great hat!!

This is a beautiful color. It has excellent sun cover but is also waterproof for quite a bit of rain. Love it!

Good for noon time/when sun is directly overhead

I bought a size large because some reviews suggested it can leave a mark around the head (which is common for me with other hats). It's a little big - only noticeable on windy days, but thankfully the neck string prevents it from flying away! It is a very straight brim (if that makes any sense) so I find it works really well when the sun is directly overhead, however, during the rest of the day you will get sun on your face (e.g., tip of nose, chin, mouth area), so you'll want to ensure you're wearing sunscreen. Happy I got this on clearance (lavendar colour) as I wouldn't be as impressed if I paid full price (due to the stiffness/straight brim that doesnt provide the full coverage I prefer in a sun hat).

Form function

I've been searching for a long time for a sunhat that was breathable, cute, and stayed on my head. This fits the bill! Color is great, keeps my sunburn prone skin protected, and looks pretty darn good.

Lovely hat

Large brim, covers my neck well! Super comfy, I do not find it tight like some other reviews stated. I believe they didn't measure their head (or maybe not properly) and buy the proper size. I love the adjustable draw on the back and the chin strap. Will certainly be an essential for boating this summer.

Great Hat

I bought this hat for gardening. Great at keeping the sun off my face and neck! Wide brim, comfortable and lightweight. Stays securely on my head. Pretty color. I am satisfied.

Love the wide brim but too many negatives for me

I love how wide the brim is but find myself reaching for this hat less and less (have 2 of them). First, this hat runs small and it will leave an indentation in your forehead that seems to last forever (a good hour or so). I thought I was losing my mind over the hat indentation/doing something wrong, but I see other reviews mention the same issue. Also, it's breathability is poor. I get hotter wearing this than similar sun hats with ventilation. Last thing is the brim can get pretty misshapen and is hard to get back in to a more symmetrical flat shape. My hope is a redesign to get the sizing right, more breathability, and a similar selection of colors. I love the purple colors this hat has come in over the years.

This hat is provides great sun coverage for gardening and whatever outdoor activity you have in mind. I wore this hat river rafting. When the wind picked up, the strap saved my hat from blowing away. I felt shaded and cool in the hot sun. Sounds great, huh? Well, after rafting, I saw the photos of me in the hat. I thought- Who is that old lady in the raft with my husband? Not cool. I'll leave this hat at home next time I go rafting with friends. They were so kind not to tease me about wearing it. Ugh....

Amazing color!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hat fit perfectly and kept the bright sun off my face with it's nice wide brim. The quality is outstanding. I tried it out in the rain and it seemed to shed water as well.

Awesome sun protection
