Really wanted to like these, but can't

These are marketed as driving gloves, but the leather is so slick that they do not grip my steering wheel. The stitching on the pointer finger made the glove very pointy and odd, especially when trying to use a touchscreen. It looks like a witch’s fingernail. OR usually nails fit and finish. Unfortunately, these had to go back. If you’re looking for a great driving glove for temps in the mid 40’s (F), check out their Deviator gloves. They are phenomenal in terms of fit, grip, warmth, and touchscreen compatibility.

Good idea, poorly executed

Returned after trying on. The flurry sensor gloves are great: warm yet dexterous, and with good water resistance. But, the soft fabric fingers will wear quickly if used to hold/manipulate things, and if you touch snow, they will soak through quickly. So, I thought these would be a solution. I had an old pair of Powerstretch Fleece gloves with Pittards leather palms for this same reason. These are poorly designed in many ways: The finger tips lack the warm fleece+wool double layer that gives the Flurry its warmth. Finger tips are the part that gets the coldest, there should not be less insulation there than elsewhere. The leather reenforcement is poorly layed out: The thumb tip is not covered, so you will wear a hole there, deflecting the purpose of the leather covering. The leather cover extends to far, covering the knuckles and back of hand. This reduces the dexterity and comfort, that part can't stretch outwards when you close your hand. It also reduces breathability and increases dry time. And, it's unnecessary! When have you worn holes in the back of the hand of your gloves?

Daily use gloves

I searched long and hard for a new pair of gloves which could be used every day. Honestly, I've never been a fan of hybrid glove construction. However, I've used OR products in the past and they've never let me down. I bought these several months ago and wanted to see how they perform before writing any review. I find thes gloves excellent for daily use - driving, walking in the park, etc. Warm and comfortable with a good grip for driving. I especially llike the large pull-on loops which are quite handy. Obviously, they are not designed for high exertion outdoor activities in snow or rain. These are gloves for an urban/suburban gentleman. Although I am rarely accused of being such a thing, these gloves make me look like one.

Jury is out...

These gloves are very thin and the leather feels like a synthetic or poly blend. They are not as warm as the simple wool flurry gloves. I'd stick with those for driving or regular winter wear. The non-leather flurry glove had rubber grips on the fingers that are grippier for driving.
