Perfect for travel and outdoors
Great for the dusty weather and windstorms I've experienced out here. Also great flying pants, good amount of stretch and breathability for sitting on a plane for 6 hours.

Perfect summer hiking pants, highly recommended
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these for summer hiking and backpacking in the northeast. Great stretch, fit well, durable but very thin and breathable, and shed a light rain. I own the full pants and the convertibles and they fit the same.. I'm on a search and rescue team and work for TrailBound Project, a hiking, backpacking, and bushwhacking school in northern NJ and we recommend Ferrosi pants to our students for summer treks and Prana Zions when it is cooler. I think I own 5 pairs of Ferrosis. Note that I normally wear a 30" inseam and it was true to size, but I wear a 30" waist and I needed to go down to a 28" in the Ferrosis for a good fit. Excellent pants!

Great convertable pants in any weather.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oddly these are not like my OD versions. Different pocket configuration Button instead of snap seam closure Not as wide of a back belt loop. (I kind of wish that OR would join the double back belt loop world).

Zip-off seam chafes
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it

- 34

As the title says, the zipper seams do not feel good on the legs. Seconds after putting these pants on, I was immediately bothered by the feel of the zip-off seam. I can certainly imagine the roughness of those seams rubbing my legs raw after a couple miles of hiking in these pants. My Columbia convertible pants do not have this same problem. Fit was great, and the low waist is perfect for backpacking. Unfortunately, I just couldn't love the feel of the zipper seams on my legs.

Good material but......
I like the material but the fit is way too tight around the thighs , no room at all for any airflow, OR used o make great convertable pants but they've changed from functionability to more fashion driven. if you have larger thicker legs dont buy.

Didn't like 'em
- Size Bought:
- 32 regular
- Height:
- 5' 10"
- Weight:

I didn't like the feel of the fabric. I didn't like the layout of the pockets. I didn't like that you had to take your hiking boots off to remove or zip on the legs. Fit seemed fine. So, returned them and kept the KUHL Renegade Convertible pants I purchased from REI.

Pretty Good...a Hiccup or Two
Pretty good product. Great pricing. Have worn it twice...once for a 12 km hike in fair summer weather and once for a short 3 km in light rain. So far find the product to be true to size, comfy, lightweight, stretchy when squatting and definitely water resistant. I also had to crawl through a window to help a friend who had locked themselves out and pants showed no marking from scraping my shins along their window frame! My issues with the pants are two fold. There is only one zip cargo pocket on the right thigh...would prefer a second on the left side. Second, the cargo pocket won't fit my phone and still zip closed. I have an standard sized iPhone 13 with an Otterbox Defender. I am a bit unhappy the pocket isn't larger considering the times and phone sizes. If the phone thing isn't a dealbreaker for you would recommend.
