heated gloves

Size Bought:
5' 6"

I haven't used them yet, but I hear they're very good. I have some friends that use an older model. The only problem is the fit. The fingers and palm is short and very wide. They probably fit perfect for men, but there is a lot of room around my fingers and palm, and the length to the palm is short . Maybe make a female version? We're usually the ones with colder hands, but I will keep these until I can find something better.

Well Built gloves!

My hands get cold easily - The heated Capstone Gloves make my days working full time as a ski instructor much more comfortable. No more cold and numb fingers!

Durable and warm but overpriced

Overall, these are quality gloves that provide mostly even heat when you need it. I work outside at a ski resort and will have these cranked on high as long as possible (they usually last four or five hours). They do exactly what they advertise, but the price tag is quite surprising- must be the batteries. Honestly, mittens and hand warmers perform just as well and last longer- but I was hoping to not generate as much waste with the rechargeable gloves. I'm glad I have them, but would probably not spend that much money on them again.

Nice and warm

Great pair of gloves. I start out with them on high till my hands are warm. Then I take them down to midheat for a short time. Then I take them down to low for a few more minutes. Then I just shut them off and continue to wear the gloves. Or even put on a pair of lighter weight gloves. I use these for waterfowl hunting works great running my boat.

Warm Hands!

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. He fights cold hands while skiing and he used them on a day that was 9 degrees F. His hands weren't cold at all. He used the medium setting and it was just right. Well worth the purchase price for all day comfort.

Bottom Line: These will fix cold hands.

I have used these gloves in deep subzero temps of -20F for hours at a time and not just been "not cold" but have had warm, comfortable hands. That's a new experience for me - I haven't been able to wear gloves for at least the last 20 years and have had to rely on mittens. I'm a ski patroller, so that also is a problem for working out in the cold. These gloves have quite good dexterity. Not as good as a non-heated glove, by considerably better than a mitten. They're also very heavy duty - no worries about outdoor work with these gloves. They're definitely burly and solid and will take a lot of punishment. On the warmer days above, I used one battery per glove and never had a problem all day. On the colder days, I used both batteries and I tend to do that to just avoid "range anxiety" and running out of juice. I used to have to bring 2-3 pairs of mittens for a day skiing and change out every couple of hours. With these, I bring one pair and that's it - I'm very confident in their capability. Yeah, they're expensive - they may be the most expensive glove out there. But I have probably spent what these cost every couple of years on new gloves and trying out new approaches. If I had bought these, I'd have been money ahead AND I would have had warm hands all those years. So I'm a happy camper with these and highly recommend them.

Oh yes!

Returned the cheaper pair as I just wanted warmer. Raynaud's blows if you like snow and I live by Copper Harbor 387" of snow and a constant single digits for January and February. Great for warming up after pulling a "HUGE" fish through the ice on a tip up too! Very warm on high and switching power modes keeps them working all day. I do keep two extra batteries for the long cold days out. I recommend....

Highly recommended for extreme weather or cold hands.

In the 'northern tier' of Wisconsin we're getting all the gear ready to head out... so far the gloves are fantastic, the true test will be late night fat-bike rides in 0-20 degrees but i have a feeling these are the best solution for extreme conditions.
