Fantastic
Bought these hats for both of my boys (3 and 5) for winter hiking in the NC mountains. First trip out it was 25 degrees and windy. These hats did fantastic. Kept the boys heads and ears warm and they loved wearing them. Now Im ordering an adult version from my wife. A double blaze for this product.

Great hat for kids!
This is a great hat for kids. It covers their ears, stays in place, is lightweight and very warm. I've recommended it to all of my friends for their kids.

How do I know which size my sons head will take? I was thinking M/L he is 8 years old.

My daughter is 5 and wears the xs/s and my 6 year old son wears the m/l and they both have room to grow.

My son (3) wears xs/s. My other son (5) a M/l But he has a big head. Both have room to grow.

There should be a sizing chart assigned to this item, and well get that fixed. In the meantime, a M/L is recommended for a child age 3 to 12 and for a head circumference of 21 to 22.5 inches (53 to 57 cm).
