Great Style but not the right fit

I am on the hunt for a sneaker for my Hot Girl Walks and ordered the On Running Cloudaway shoes and the Cloud 5 shoes to compare fit. The style of the Cloudaways is much better and more fashion forward than the Cloud 5s but ultimately the Cloudaways were less comfortable. The shoe fit fairly well length and width wise in the footbed but the heel cup is higher and more inward leaning that the cloud 5. This made the shoes both harder to get on and more uncomfortable to wear. It felt perfect everywhere but against my achilles. I don't think sizing up would solve the problem in my case. Definitely a great shoes but maybe better for those with narrower ankles or just casual use. I was looking for a shoe I could wear on my 2 hour long walks and easily take them on and off at TSA for traveling. I typically wear a size 9 and purchased a size 9.
