Love these boots. I personally appreciate that Oboz make a non-waterproof mid. In Colorado it rarely rains long enough to justify wearing waterproof all the time! I have found that the DWR coating on the shoes is more than enough for an afternoon thunder storm! Overall the fit is great. I am a 13 and my width is a C width and they fit perfect. I will say that these fit different than the old sawtooth but that isn't a bad thing. They have a more performance fit and my foot tends to feel more secure in the boot which is great!! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quality, durable shoe with the best support out of box of any brand!!

Decent boot, Great Insole!

I've only been using these a few weeks so I can't speak to their longevity, but overall these are pretty decent boots. I typically wear a size 9 US, and got these in a 9 Wide and they're a perfect fit, sizing is spot-on. The soles and fit are very comfortable, with just the right amount of support for on-trail backpacking without being too stiff. I have found that the collar of the boot is a bit too stiff and lacks padding, so it does bite uncomfortably into my ankle. This has gotten a little better as the boots break-in, but still hasn't gone away yet. The lacing system is a bit cumbersome as well, but only because I'm more accustomed to wearing high-end boots with rollers or bearing that make lacing adjustments a breeze - the cloth loops on these boots just take a bit more work to get the lacing adjusted to fit just right. Besides those two things though the boots are very good, however the O-Fit insole they use is EXCELLENT, and easy the best stock insole I've ever found in a boot. Very comfortable with plenty of arch support and a great heel cup, I wish every boot manufacturer included insoles this nice with their boots!
