Fit Has Changed from Previous Model
I loved my Sawtooth II shoes, but the fit on these is very different and I found them to be very uncomfortable.

++ to be clear i did order the wide version of these++ I've only just opened out of the box and wore around the house a bit. I ordered the 10 wide as that's usually what i wear. I'm not going to be able to stuff thicker hiking socks in the shoe like i can on other brands in a comparable size but with a nice fitting boot that may not matter. Time will tell but so far out of the box I'm very happy with my purchase. for reference my left foot is 260mm long and my right foot is 265mm long and both are 110mm wide

Perfect lightweight mid hiker!

I was recently introduced to the low version of this shoe and absolutely love them and figured I had to try the mids. The mids fit and feel very similar just with a higher cuff. The cuff is mid-height and not super stiff. Don't expect a ton of support but rather a nice level of protection and something just to assist the stability in your ankles. They have the same great arch support as the lows with extra bits of cushion at the heel and ball of the foot and they have the same wider forefoot and narrower heel which I find to be accommodating for my feet. The waterproof liner also works great! It breathes well enough to keep my feet comfortable on hotter days but also keeps the weather out. Super satisfied!
