Great tent but small for me
The tent is seems to be built well but is a bit small for my 6’2” frame. Either feet or head was touching the wall of the tent. The tent performed well

Great 2 season tent
Love the design of the tent. Used it twice for Fall backpack camping. No rain, but did will with moisture. Split the weight with my campy buddy. Would have give it a 5 stars, if the tent poles were lighter.

I would like to see the rain fly come down all the way to the ground. As is it’s only 2-2 inches off the ground. Feels decent have yet to take it out and rest it. For 190$ it’s ok.

Meridian 2 Tent
TLDR: simple, beautiful, functional The setup is easy and straight-forward with clips and a carabiner to hold the poles instead of finnicky tent pole sleeves. This is a true 2-person tent, so no need to cuddle! The steep sides make for decent headspace and could conceivably accommodate 4 people sitting upright, playing cards or the like. The two entrances are convenient and the two awnings make nice storage to keep gear out of the rain. Other features: footprint included, "bath tub" floor, sturdy tent poles, great color. I've only had the chance to take it out once so far. The tent kept me dry during a calm drizzly evening (~50F degrees). There was no visible moisture inside the tent in the morning, although there was plenty of condensation on the inside of the rain fly. My only (minor) complaints: - 6 tent stakes (one for each corner and awning). Another 2-4 would be nice to tie down for wind. - No instructions included for the little tabs/chord lock on the inside of the rain fly. Hint: they're there to hold the rain fly in place if you decide you want to roll it back to see the stars or get a bit more fresh air. Overall, it is a well-built, easy-to-use, great looking tent.

Miss the MH Hammerhead
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I got this to replace my old mountainhardware Hammerhead which stood up to a yearlong hiking trip in South America and many many adventures in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the US. Truly wish that anyone still made a tent like that. This is small for two. ( we are 5'5 and 5'9 and skinny.) The profile will not shed wind / rain nearly as well and the build seemed skimpy. needs better stakes and more anchor points to start. We set it up in the livingroom and then returned it. Please MH bring back the hammerhead!!!

This isn't a bad tent for the price, but I was overall a bit disappointed. It comes with six plain skewer stakes; you will need 12 to pitch it properly. It's not possible to set it up fly-first, which is what you will want to do if it's raining. There are attachments for four guys, one on each corner, but Mountain Hardware provide only two pieces of cord. Similarly, the stake-out points at the ends of the tent have no cord attached: provide your own. I think that you really need those points to be staked out to create some space between the inner tent and the fly. There are only two small storage pockets inside, one at each end (plus a lighting pocket at the peak). There are good points. Some people complain about headroom, but for this 5'2" guy, that's not an issue. I like the fact that it's fully symmetrical, so there is no fussing about what goes where. The plastic carabiner that attaches the inner tent to the pole crossing is nice—simple and effective. The problems that I listed above could be fixed — put grommets on the footprint corners to allow the fly to be set up without the inner tent, add some cordage, buy decent stakes ... but I decided that there are better tents out there for the price.
