As did previous reviewer, I ordered the red jacket, the one pictured as being one solid color throughout. I specifically chose this one over other brands because it was one color (yeah, it’s just my thing!). Unfortunately, the jacket I received has a large black chest pocket and a black hood. I will be returning it. Other than that, the coat seems to be well made and the fit was fine.

Legit
This is an elevated hooded sweatshirt that is ridiculously stylish. I can’t get over how nice it is. I am a MHW fan and this a great addition to the products I already own. Other reviewers have mentioned the long sleeves and they are long, but I like it that way. We are in the midst of temperatures in the teens and it works great on its own for quick in and out of the cold and perfect for extended times outside as a layer underneath a Kor Strata Alpine Hoody.

I went round and round since last year if I wanted to grab a Keele jacket. Once the new ones came out without the black chest pocket was the biggest reason for getting one this season. What I noticed between the two versions.. The first model year had thumb holes at the cuffs and the recent model doesn't, but the length in the arms is still there and it would make sense to have them in the newer model as well. That is the only negative I can even think about this jacket is the long arms. It has an athletic cut to it and I find the arms to be a little tight, especially in the forearms. I like the thinness of this Keele jacket. The Kor Strata jackets and the A therm jacket I have are all thicker and more insulated. The fleece lining is nice, but not too much as to make the jacket getting too warm if you started any aerobic activity. It is a hard jacket to describe. A soft shell? A really thin fleece jacket with a soft shell outer? The way the two materials are bonded together is seamless, which makes it not like any other jacket I own. I would highly recommend this jacket for anyone who is a climber. Either for rock climbing, ice climbing, or for mountaineering. No matter what, you will be able to fill a gap in your jacket arsenal with this jacket. *Edit*. I got a sleazy deal when I bought the Better Blue color, I have been so impressed with the jacket I just ended up buying another in the Dark Storm color and so much so, I bought my wife one in the female version. The only negative is the long length in the arms at the cuff and the skinny forearms. Other than that.. It is a perfect jacket, especially if you run hot like I do. I don't need much to stay warm and this jacket is so comfortable and a great layering piece if you throw an insulated jacket over the top. I have been wearing it everyday since I got it, for walking the dog, throwing my Ghost Whisperer jacket over it if I need a little more warmth for late evening and early morning walks.

Photos are not accurate.
I ordered a solid orange hoodie and got one that was orange and grey. Do not order unless you like surprises.

Crazy Arms
Overall I like the jacket. It has a great soft fleece interior. Pockets are good size and well located. Only issue is the sleeves. They are ridiculously long. Way longer than needed. WOuldn't be an issue if there was a velcro closure or elastic cuff. Not sure why they are so long. It's going to make layering a bit of an issue...

Love this jacket
What do I love? I love how comfortable and warm this jacket is. Which is kind of a hybrid between a rain shell and fleece like liner. I have never been truly comfortable in most shells but this is incredible because of the fleece like liner and the stretch it affords. Now truth be told, I haven't tried it in a full on rainstorm, but for light rain, it is fantastic. And just what you need on a chilly rainy day. Love this jacket. One word of note: like most MHW jackets it flares out a bit at the bottom which I don't love but makes sense for those carrying gear on their waist.
