Junk

If you plan on using these for anything beyond just going to the mall do not buy these delicate thin shelled garbage

They do run large

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just sent back a pair of mediums for a pair of smalls. They were too long in the mittens section so it was hard to pick things up. Have lots of other gloves mittens from MH, OR, BD and Rab and having always gottten mediums so I completely agree with the review that said these run large. I did put on a pair of my Montbell Merino liners and they still fit fine. MH was really honest on the weight with my smalls weighing 115g without the wrist straps. Overall really happy with the weight, cuff, and warmth. Would like the nose wipe as many others have said.

Stay warm and dry

A great gore-tex mitt. If you need toasty hands in the wet/cold, these will do the trick! I live in the PNW, and keep these in my gear bag once the weather cools.

Great gloves

Great quality. They tend to run large so consider sizing down.

No more cold, wet hands

Outstanding mitts. They will keep your hands warm and dry for several hours in a steady, cold rain.

Poor quality mittens and poor warranty

The only pros of these mittens are the warmth and the powder sleeves. I bought these mittens a little under 2 years ago and they started to fall apart on day 1. The first thing to happen was the rubber dots falling off. After using them a few times in alpine environments I noticed that a tear had formed on the back of the right mitten. Unbeknownst to me, if you patch the hole then your warranty is void. I did this and kept using them. On probably my 15th time using them in under 2 years I noticed that the thumb seam on the right hand was falling apart and there was a hole on the left mitten. I'm not sure if this is because of how icey it was that day or what. I also can't do anything at this point because of the patch I applied to the first hole in the goretex. For all of these reasons, I would not recommend this pair of mittens unless you are purely wearing them for style and warmth. They don't stand up well in the alpine environment Mountain Hardware says they are made for.

Great emergency mitts

Great lightweight emergency mitts, take these with me for super variable conditions. I wear with a liner, which I strongly suggest

Almost better than down gloves

I wish they had nose wipe and great mid range glove from the absolute and lighter oven mitten.

Great compressible mitts

Great backup/bonus mitts, wish they had a nose wipe but other than that they rock.
