Why We Like The Moab 2 Prime Mid WP Hiking Boot

Sandy trails or muddy scrambles are no match for the Moab 2 Prime Hiking Boot. It optimizes us for plenty of breathability when trekking through hot biomes while still giving waterproof protection thanks to Merrell's M Select Dry membrane. We can't forget the Vibram TC5+ outsole for loads of grip no matter the type of terrain we're stepping on.

Good hiking boot

I have been on five hikes with these boots, each hike over two hours long and over some rugged, rocky, rooty terrain and wearing a daypack weighing about twenty pounds Boots were comfortable and provided better traction than my other boots, which are Merrell oakcreek mids. They feel a little “clunky” at heel strike compared to the oakcreeks, probably because of larger lugs, so the oakcreeks would be my choice for easier hikes or everyday wear. I did get them wet crossing a stream, but it was just a short dip, and I did not feel any water seeping through. I’m curious how they will do with a prolonged immersion. Overall, very happy with performance and have always loved Merrell footwear

Third pair

Great shoes, just purchased my third pair while down with a back surgery and saw them on sale. Might as well have a new pair of comfortable boots waiting for me once I’m able get back to outdoor activities.

Hiking in Colorado

My son & I went on vacation to Colorado. I wore my Merrells & they are fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone! I've had several pairs of Merrells over the years. I absolutely love them! But I think this is the best pair yet!

Really comfortable

I just got these and they fit extremely well. I didn’t need to break them in much as they were comfortable from the start. Will definitely be using them for work and hiking.

Making The Switch from OBOZ To MOAB 3 Prime

I bought the black MOAB 3 Prime Mid. I’ve been mowing a commercial route in the them 60 plus hours a week. They are very comfortable, light for a hiking style boot. They get wet every morning from spring rain and most always this time of year dew on AM grass. My go to boot the past 6-7 years has been OBOZ. These two are very similar in style but I’m liking the MOAB PRIME better. Not to mention they are $40-45 less money. We buy all of our mowing guys boots so 4 of our crew members have made the switch and feedback is “So Far……So Good… Thanks Again! And if they send out shirts, hats etc the crew would enjoy them😁

Knocking out another walk with the pup.

Whether on trail or the beaches of Washington state and Puget Sound, have to shout out on the comfort and reliability of these boots.
