    Fake a fever quick.

When you're surprised by a foot of snow outside your window, pull on the Marmot Men's Palisades Pants, grab your skis, muster up a fake cough long enough to fool the big boss man, and head to the ski resort. Built with a two-layer Gore-Tex shell and fully taped seams, the Palisades Pants keep you dry as you ski through driving winds, whirling graupel, and pristine powder. Internal gaiters with gripper elastics hug tight to boots, and the addition of ankle zips make it easy to dial back the buckles on your boots when you take a mid-day break over a pitcher with your fellow powderhounds. The articulated knees let your legs assume their natural position as you ski, while the hook-and-loop adjustable waist lets you dial in the perfect fit, without having to deal with a bulky belt.

    • Versatile ski pants ideal for mid-winter storms and bluebird days
    • Waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex shell with fully taped seams
    • Internal gaiters form a snow-tight seal around boots
    • Cordura scuff guards resist wear and tear from ski edges
    • Ankle zips can be opened up for easy access to boot buckles
    • Regular fit with straight cuff and tapered knees

    Best snow pants!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

So, I've had quite the time trying to find some snow pants. I'm a female, 5'5" very large thighs and butt (25" quads (at the largest point), 28" waist, 42" hips). These are THE pants for me! I ordered both the M and L, and ended up keeping the large. They are roomy but not baggy, and provide awesome range of motion for snowboarding! And they are not even too long, which can sometimes happen with men's pants for me. I hope these pants work for others out there too!

    Worked Perfectly

I bought these pants a year ago at the end of the ski season and I only got to use it a week ago in Vermont. We had two days of rain and freezing rain. I worn these pants and they kept me dry the whole day skiing and sitting on the wet chair lifts. Perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I'm 5'11

    Highly recommend.

If I could put emojis in my review I would put the high five and the dancing girl cause these pants are fire!!! They are Gore-Tex, so you know you'll stay dry, but they're not lined so you'll definitely want a good baselayer. I use the Patagonia synchilla pant underneath and stay warm all day. Great buy. Great price.

Not what I expected from Marmot

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium

The fit in the waist is tight and I run between a 31-32 roughly so they should fit great. They are also way to long, so unless your 6'0", then look elsewhere. The gore-tex works, or at least it passed the water test, but these pants are the most fragile feeling piece of gore-tex I have ever put my hands on. Lastly and the most irritating were the ankle gators, The pictures above and what came in the mail are unacceptably different. The ankle gators are so big they loosely drop over the front of the BOA dial on my boots.
