I bought this hoping to use it as a mid layer, and using the size chart landed on a small (125 lbs, 32 bust, 27 waist). It fits fairly well as a base layer, but I wouldn’t be able to put anything under it. I also wish the waist could hug my hips a little more (I’m not much of an hour glass). Otherwise seems like a quality top thus far. I use it as a daily piece for wear in a cold house or under a vest at work.

Slim fit with a chemical smell

I was looking for a fleece mid layer to wear on very cold ski days. I tried my usual size medium. It was a slim fit so in would easily fit under a puffy but so slim it didn’t fit comfortably over a merino base layer. I had ordered this is blue and green. The blue was a bit of a lighter color and the green was a nice olive color. Both of these had a very strong chemical smell to them. I thought perhaps it was the colors, so I ordered this in black. This one also had a really strong chemical smell. So happy with backcountry customer service and speedy shipping. Ultimately I sent them back.

Stylish layer, vibrant color!
I keep getting compliments on this pullover. I’m a large size and this is true to size. The color is so vibrant! Good value.

Made for Adventure
Love the rose color and navy accents — especially the zippered chest pocket. The fit is very flattering: body-hugging without being too tight or restrictive. The powerstretch makes it super comfortable, and the smooth exterior and thumb holes make it easy to slip an outer layer on top. Planning to use this as a warm mid-layer on an upcoming trip to Antarctica. The penguins will be jealous!

Love it!
Love this! So pretty. I ordered a Medium. I wish I would have ordered a Large. The medium fits well, but it's definitely a snug fit. Washes up really well and the fleece inside is so soft!
