Why We Like The Marmot KT Component 3-in-1 Jacket
The Marmot KT Component 3-in-1 Jacket simplifies the process of finding a good synthetic midlayer and a good waterproof shell by selling them as a single 3-in-1 jacket. The midlayer boasts a durable ripstop face fabric and lightweight synthetic insulation to encourage standalone and layering use, while the 2-layer waterproof laminate of the shell seals out weather no matter what we're doing.

Nice jacket, fit isn't great
I like the layout and the materials of the jacket. However, the cut isn't great for me. I am 5'10" and 190 lbs. I sized as a Medium based on chest size, but the arms are short. I feel like I would be swimming in a Large. Also, one of the chest zippers continuously gets stuck on the material inside of the pocket. I don't know if this is true of all of the jackets or if I got a bad one. With the right body type, this is an excellent jacket. For me, it is so-so.

perfect ski jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This versatile jacket has many features which are perfect for ski. It is 3-in-1 so can be adjusted to different temperature with its combination. under arm vent provide extra air flow when needed. GORE-TEX keeps your body warm and dry. RECCO is nice in case there is a avalanche. Size fit me well (5ft3in and 130pound) with enough room to add layers. Dark jungle is a color mixed with blue and green and looks nice.

He Likes It!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a gift for my husband for an upcoming trip. He is 6' and around 190 lbs, and I got him the XL. The sleeves are a bit long but they do have velcro to adjust and tighten them around the wrist. It's roomy but great for layering, though I think if he were ever to pull out the inner layer of the thin down shell, the outer jacket would be huge on him. The length is great for his longer torso, it covers his butt well. He had requested no hood and this one is detachable (not easy to find a decent ski jacket without a hood!) so another win!

Fantastic winter coat
I love the 3 in 1 concept. This is a very warm jacket and can be written in multiple ways. Sometimes I wear just the shell or just the liner. I wish I knew what other liners would zip into the shell just for variety.
