Cuddling up inside Marmot's Angel Fire 25-Degree Down Women's Sleeping Bag is a lot like bedding down with a flock of ducks, except totally different. While its 650-fill down insulation keeps you as warm as a wintertime mallard and the Down Defender treatment helps maintain loft in soggy conditions, the rest of the Angel Fire is as un-ducklike as it's possible to be. The wrap-around footbox and Nautilus multi-baffle hood, for example, provide killer warmth in vital places, while the snagless draft tube and ground-level side seams prevent your warmth from seeping out through the zipper or into the air. Marmot also integrated an internal stash pocket for a headlamp or midnight snack, so you can enjoy easy illumination and fuel up when you wake up in the middle of the night.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I love this sleeping bag. I've camped with it from Montana to Texas, and it's always been warm enough.
Word of warning, though-- I'm 5'8'' and 160, so I'm not a small woman, but I got the long and it's way too baggy for me. Oh well. In really cold temperatures I can fit another sleeping bag into the excess space, so it's all good.
I'd give it a 5/5. Great bag!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Love this sleeping bag! This is my second Marmot sleeping bag I own - I love it! My original bag I had for about 5 years and it was still durable however it got stolen out of my car. I went with another Marmot because I knew I loved this sleeping bag brand.
I was so happy when I got this new one - the material is so silky soft. So puffy and the cutest color. It also packs down very well.
I am 5 foot 4 and I have the regular size which fits perfect, not sure I could be any taller with out a perfect fit.
Sometimes the zipper glitches and if you prefer more room for you feet, I wouldn't recommend this model. The foot space is a tad tight.
My personal cocoon!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've only had a couple of chances to use this sleeping bag however, so far it has been great. Very comfortable and soft, super warm and the fit is great. I'm 5'3" and have this in the regular length. My feet are just about at the end of the bag but I still have a little room to move around which I prefer. I recently slept in this bag in about low 30 temps and I was very toasty - occasionally had to unzip the bag to cool down so I don't doubt that this bag will do wonders in colder temps than 20-25 degrees. It's a very light sleeping bag so this packs well and I can guarantee there will be no issues having to hike with this thing on your back. I'll be back for another review once we get into the cooler weather.
What are the differences between this model year and last (green)? I've heard of a difference in color (obviously), fill weight, and noticed that Marmot put a footwarmer pouch in the bottom of the green model (is it on the current model?), as well as the stash pocket in the current model (is it on last year's model?).
