Why Why We Like The Mammut Nordwand Knit High GTX Mountaineering Boot
Big summit pushes call for a boot that can hold its own in the most extreme conditions. The Mammut Nordwand Knit High GTX Mountaineering Boot is a high-altitude mountaineering boot with a 3D knit synthetic upper and a lace closure to get a classic boot that keeps us comfortable and moving in frigid, steep environments. The knit upper and sock fit around the leg ensure we have optimal comfort when we are climbing, and the GORE-TEX Duratherm lining not only blocks out all the moisture to keep our feet dry but also adds insulation to help keep our feet warm. These boots are compatible with automatic crampons and have an insulated PU midsole to support our feet and to insulate from the freezing ground.

Comfortable for a mountaineering boot.
These boots keep my feet really warm and dry. They grip well in the heel, have good room in the toe box, and move pretty well for a stiff mountaineering boot. I didn't have any break in time and haven't had any blisters. I've worn them days in a row without issue.
