Mammut’s Light Removable Airbag 3.0 gives you the option to add an avalanche airbag to this lightweight ski touring backpack. The pack itself weighs a scant 2 lbs 10 oz without the airbag system installed, making it a good choice for high alpine objectives and long-haul ski tours. In terms of support, it’s equipped with an aluminum frame and thermoformed back panel for hauling heavier loads, and it even features Mammut’s Contact V-frame to give the pack a natural, comfortable feel while climbing or skiing. Once equipped with Mammut’s Removable Airbag System 3.0 (not included), this lightweight alpine touring backpack transforms into a full-featured avalanche airbag for one more safeguard in the event of an avalanche.
