Why We Like The Crag Dry Rope
Among Mammut's arsenal of Crag climbing ropes, the Crag Dry Rope stands out to us as an all-arounder for rock, ice, and every route in between. Mammut's Dry treatment excels UIAA's standards for abrasion-resistance as well as water-resistance, so this rope thrives in both desert and alpine environments. The thicker 9.8mm diameter delivers longer-lasting durability and better handling than it's skinnier counterpart. Mammut added a center mark to quicken rappel rigs.

Great rope for the price! Handles well, resists coiling, and doesn't attract tons and tons of dirt and metal dust into the sheath.

Best rope for crag climbing in Rocky Mountains
Very durable yet light rope to climb in fast-changing alpine weather. Performs great on sharp limestone. I test it over 6 month in the mountains in North America and Europe. No visible abrasion, nor wear and tear after climbing 3-5 days a week from April to September. Fantastic, well-behaving rope, easy to manage and very reliable. The best option for sports routes.

Great rope!
I give this score as this was the rope that got me into climbing and helped me propel myself forward into the world of climbing. This was a great durable, easy to use rope and was perfect for all the climbs I started on as well as pretty much all routes I have now progressed to. Couldn't recommend this rope enough. 10/10

Excellent and durable rope
When it comes to rope, I really like Mammut considering their 160 years of expertise. I bought this rope and did 2 rock and 1 ice season climbing sport, trad, and even top rope. Its still good for many seasons. Its dry treatment makes it easy to clean and is very useful in winter. I was thinking about getting half ropes to ice climb but this one is still such in good shape that I just bought a tagline instead.

My partner and I have hauled this rope up multiple multi pitches and it's been a stellar pick. The length allows us to do longer climbs but it does also add a little bit of weight. Overall a great rope.better for people beginning in multi pitch because it offers a little more traction while going through your grigri. Also can withstand huge whippers if you take any major falls.

Great ropes from Mammut, always last longer than other brands I've used. The option for 70 meters is great and required for Southern AZ climbing. Also dry treatment is a must.

I had a great experience both climbing and belaying with this rope. It slid through my device but was great on a catch.

Durable, reliable rope
I've taken this rope out for a few seasons now and it has held up great. It's been set up on many routes that have far from ideal rope drag and all the rope has is a little fuzziness to show for it. The durability of the dry treated rope is certainly worth the extra money. The 9.8mm diameter is burly enough to use for casual top rope and light enough it isn't a huge burden on more challenging leads.
