Love the spandex, stretchiness of the upper. Held my foot snuggly. Traction has been supportive and sticky on wet rocks, roots, mud and pebbles. Waterproofness is present. Cinching shoe tight is easy and is retained through use. I love the heel and forefoot cushioning- I describe the heel cushioning as 'springy'. Don't love that the waterproofness isnt on the tongue area. That's the stretchiest part of the shoe so I could understand it, but I don't love that. I also don't love when the laces are cinched really tight, I can feel the string 'cutting into my skin' - at least that sensation. I wear 13 1/2. I had to get the 48 2/3 (EU)/14 (US) for comfortable fit. Take care.

Light, fast and comfortable
I recently purchased these to replace my Alnasca knit 2 low as my go to fast+light mountain shoe. Right off the bat they were super comfortable and felt quite light. I put them through their paces on a rugged off-trail BC hike to a local peak. They held up very well, and the DT membrane kept my feet dry (until I ended up post-holing in 2+ft of snow..). I was concerned about blisters, as other reviews online mention pressure points, but I found none. They are great for moving fast, and you really can feel the ground through the shoe. I havr yet to put them through their paces on a good scramble, but so far I love them. My only minor issue is the lacing system seems difficult to get really snug.
