So happy to find shorts that are practical for climbing! The pockets are nice and big. Love the belt loop detail and the stitching. The fabric is durable. Short length is just long enough to wear a climbing harness. Normally I am a small but they were too big so I went with an xsmall. I typically wear size 26 or 2 in pants.

I've been looking for a pair of shorts for climbing that won't gape or ride up and will keep me covered while I climb... without being restrictive and without being super long. It's been pretty difficult to find, but these fit the bill for me! They're comfortable, durable and easy to move in. Definitely recommend!

Love these shorts!

These are my go to casual town shorts. I typically wear a size 4 and the mediums fit perfectly. Def recommend!

Overall phenomenal shorts. Lots of flexibility and the pockets are spacious; big thing for me is that they feel great in the muggy summer. I do olympic lifting and have a bit thick thighs (5'10, 160lbs) and find that when fresh from the wash they are a bit snug on my thighs and will ride up. After a few wears they loosen up and stay put fairly well. I've been using them consistently for about a month now and seeing small signs of wear where my legs rub together; no actual issues but just something I'm keeping my eyes on. Love them, but still need time to figure out their durability.

I am 6'1" 170lbs and have muscular legs, these were tight around the legs and loose in the waist (size L, my waist is a 29"). I was super excited for them but they are not for women with muscles unfortunatley.

The Perfect Length

I liked these so much I got a pair in almost every color. They are the perfect length for climbing, as short as they can get away with being while still long enough to wear with a harness without riding up under the leg loops. The material is durable yet stretchy and breathable. I've had one pair of these for two years and they show no signs of tearing despite heavy use. I'll continue to wear these shorts for as long as La Sportiva makes them!

great for route climbing

It's difficult to find shorts for summer climbing, especially cotton ones, that are comfortable all day with a harness and don't make you super sweaty or hot. SO, I appreciate these. They are flattering, which is also a benefit.

Versatile and flattering shorts

I'm 5'3" and 120 lbs and bought these in XS in the color flamingo. As far as fit, they are form-fitting if you size down (which I did) and a S would have been more roomy. I like the tighter fit, though. I appreciate that there are several pockets, which fit my iPhone X with the case. Also, the shorts have loops to hook my keys to. The length is perfect–not too short but also not too long, and the color I chose pops. I've worn these around town and hiking and I recommend!

FINALLY SHORTS WITH POCKETS

I LOVE these shorts! Would recommend for everyone. They have 4 AWESOME pockets that fit everything I could ever need. They are so comfortable and the front hides that you're wearing an elastic waistband, and they are cut flattering enough to be stylish - the rope accents and other fun design elements are fabulous. I have them in grey and I wear them walking around the city, climbing, roadtrippin', on planes - everywhere really. I usually wear a 28 in jeans and a M is comfy, I think I could have gotten away with a S if I wanted a more fitted short.

Comfy

Like these a lot. Very comfy. They run a little big, but some shrinking occured bc fabric is natural (expected). I'm 5'5" and 125, xs would have fit better than the s. Pockets are deep and spacious, which I appreciate. Would be nice of at least 1 pocket had Velcro or zipped.
