Strong like bull

I've put it through the wringer

I am incredibly impressed with this little camper. Not only as it able to withstand an accidental yard sail out of the back of my truck while driving, but it somehow manages to house the weight of myself AND my over weight (albeit terribly adorable) pup. If you're looking for the perfect equipment that's easy for packing, without sacrificing comfort in the slightest. Kelty has you covered without a hitch!

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Backcountry sent me the low down chair (much cheaper in price) instead of the chair I ordered. I was charged for this really nice looking chair but received this short little chair that i can imagine would be good for a few children to sit in because an adult won’t be able to stand up out of it. I’m really disappointed in Backcountry on this purchase. The only response I got was oh sorry, the chair you ordered isn’t in stock (?) so I didn’t have a chair to use on the camping trip I went on and now waiting to see if they deem it appropriate to refund my money. Or you know maybe send me the chair I ordered....

Favorite Chair at Camp!

I've used it several times

As a 6'1" female dating a 6'4" male, I have little patience for "average human" proportions. THIS CHAIR IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOR ANYONE ABOVE AVERAGE (sorry tiny humans, this one is for us). Yes, it is larger than the standard 90-degree-backed nylon soccer mom chair... but that is what makes it great. I can comfortably tuck my legs under me while lounging near the campfire while my significant other can lean back comfortably with his head/neck supported. The carrying "bag" has saved my sanity when it comes to packing up camp, because the bag wraps and buckles around the chair- a thing of pure beauty when you are hot, sweaty, tired, and having to head back to reality. It seems like Kelty put effort into the R&D of this product and it shows. The chair is well constructed and made using durable materials which helps offset the cost in my mind- I will probably have this chair for as long as I need it. I knew I was going to fight my man for it... but I didn't expect the cat to lay claim as well (picture). If you want a large lounger that is well designed & executed, purchase this. If you want a standard "camp chair" that you only sit in because you have to... you can have our old one!

Built for Tormund Giantsbane

I returned this product before using it

This chair is gigantic. I wanted a big one, but like a a normal big one, not a gigantic one. I thought it would be good because I am 5'5 with long legs but it still sat too high and deep. The lounger part of it is also a pain, you can't just reach behind you and adjust it while you are sitting in it, you have to get up, pick the chair up, and then with some work it will go into a different position - you have to be committed. Other than those things, I did really like the chair, loved the colors, and it was built great, the cup holders are amazing. I think a 300 lb dude could sit in it with out a problem. Not me though.

definitely a lounger

after having kids chairs for years it's a great trade up in comfort and quality. am so happy to have these and so excited to put them to work. only thing to note is it's a bigger chair you definitely fall into.
