Revel 4 Long Term Review
I have used these boots for two full seasons now. That’s about 6 days a week during the 4 winter months of the year where I live. I originally bought these as a mid-temp option to compliment my Baffin Snowmonsters that I use on the coldest days. I found they perfectly suited this need. They have been comfortable and warm from 40 degrees down to about 10F. They are lightweight and were extremely comfortable right out of the box. I especially appreciate the wide toe box. From the durable grommets to the lined insoles there are a lot of quality details. The D ring works really smoothly for attaching my OR gaiters and the bit of elastic in the loop makes them easy to attach. My only complaint about these boots is that within a month the rands started separating from the uppers on both boots. I applied some Aquaseal SR to the seams (as seen in photo) and haven’t touched them since. They continue to be perfectly waterproof. These boots also work fairly well for winter fat biking, but the tread is not ideal for pedal feel. As expected they excel for winter hiking and snowshoeing. Overall, they are the most comfortable boot I’ve ever had. If it wasn’t for the slight rand separation I would absolutely give them 5 stars.

Amazing boots! I almost wish winter were all year long!
I love Keen boots, but these exceeded even my expectations! My dog land I spend a lot of outside in the winter snow. Since these boots are rated to -40ºF, I expected to wear them only on the snowiest and coldest days. And they are noticeably warmer than my other boots rated to -20ºF! But the Keen boots are also incredibly comfortable and lightweight! They are now my favorite walking boots... and I almost wish winter wouldn't end so I could wear them all year long!

Kept my feet dry and warm
Took a few days to break into them but was very happy with the overall comfort and performance of this shoe. I got a half a size bigger to accommodate thicker socks and it worked out great. Hiked with them in the snow and was 100% dry.

4th lace hook down from top of boot digs into the ball of your heal when standing/ walking
Only time these boots feel comfortable is if I'm sitting the minute I stand up that 4th lace loop down from top of boot digs into your ankle I'm tempted to try to grind it off with a angle grinder I've walked probably 20 miles in them and they are the most painful boots I've ever worn in my life which is very disappointing since I bought these as my new winter boots and now can't even wear them cause the hurt my ankles so bad with that stupid hook idk why it would be put right where your boot bends as you walk? Anyways very disappointed worse pair of keens I've ever had hate them/ can't and won't wear them

Good water proof boot with light insulation and good traction. Good daily boot here in WI. Great balance for the job that is inside and outside throughout the day.

Boot review
Boots were returned. Did not like design, ie, tongue needed to be attached full boot height.

Satisfied
Love the boots. They look and feel great. They have a loose fit that might not be for everyone, but I enjoy. So far the only moister I have noticed was from my over sweaty feet. But the boot seemed to wick away most of that. The traction is great. Over all the boot is solid. I would 100% recommend.
