Whether by tube or by boat, the Keen Men's Drift Creek H2 Sandal is our go-to however we run the river. One fatal design flaw.
So much to like, except... my heel hangs off the back of the shoe a bit. I wish the back strap would hold my foot farther forward. As it is, my foot hangs off the back of the shoe and the back lip of the sole digs into my skin. Too bad. Other than that, they are durable, have a wide toe box, and are generally well-made. I have taken them on many adventures (because they are my only option right now), but when I return home from traveling I plan to buy something different.

Not Great
I purchased these to wear while hiking/wet wading small mountain streams. For the most part they're fine for this. Relatively comfortable for hiking and decent traction for in the water. They have become unusable for me though because once they get wet, they rub on my foot and cause significant sores. Will definitely be getting something else for my purposes.

Comfortable doesn’t require break in.
Comfortable doesn’t require break in. Can wear with socks if feel nerdy and it’s cold outside. I think stylish.

Lace lock broke after a week
Love the comfort and style of the sandal but the lock broke. I’ve taped the top with black electrical tape so can keep using it but that was disappointing.

Get 2 pair of these
I love the comfort and styling of these sandals. I wear them every day. I liked the first pair so much that I got a second pair. They seem to hold up to everyday use well. Glad I got them.

Awesome Shoes
Snug, comfortable fit, even after walking multiple hours. easy to pull on, tighten/loosen, wash off. Super comfortable, light-weight, and durable. One of my favorite pairs of shoes ever. I bought them to take with me to Indonesia for constant daily wear and lots of walking. Note: they will form blisters on your heels and the sole of your foot while you're breaking them in if you're doing long walks in them. Totally worth it.

An Interesting Alternative to the Keen Newport H2
I was looking for a pair of Newport H2, which I have happily worn for years, only replacing when completely worn out from wearing daily, but checked what else Keen had available. The Drift Creek H2 looked interesting and was somewhat cheaper than the Newport H2, so I decided to give them a try. These are slightly smaller and lighter, with a softer and more flexible sole than the Newport H2. The tongue piece sometimes folds over on itself as you slip the sandal on, but a quick tug on the end straightens it. They are very comfortable and comfortable for walking. The softer and more flexible sole feels a little more "connected" to the ground than the Newport H2, though for hiking on rough ground the Newport might be better with its thicker and stiffer sole.

Mens Driftcreek H2
Best sandal I have worn to date! Comfortable, light, yet rugged. This shoe is a little narrow, but that is perfect for my narrow feet!
