I got these for urban winter boots and so far they have not disappointed. These are sturdy, built well, and look good with the long skirts and jeans based outfits I wear all winter. I am a 9 with wide feet and the 40s fit well, they will need a bit of breaking in on the width, but they feel fine. On ice and snow they seem to hold well and my feet have been cozy without getting too hot.
