Why We Like The K2 FlipJaw Freeride Adjustable Ski Poles

Sturdy and stylish, the K2 FlipJaw Freeride Adjustable Ski Poles provide us with control and comfort both inbounds and out. The aluminum shaft handles daily wear and tear, while the Flipjaw locking mechanism secures the adjustable length, allowing us to climb with a long pole and descend with a shorter one. Finally, the familiar handle prevents fatigue and keeps us focused on our next turn.

Durable!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I am an abuser of ski poles and manage to break a pair most seasons. The FlipJaw seems to stand up best to my abuse. They are aluminum from top to bottom, no plastic tip to break off. Being adjustable they are a bit heavier than a non adjustable pole but this feature is well worth the added grams. The adjustable clip being near the top is convenient and is so handy when pushing through flat sections or cutting trail to access OB/side country.
