When we're headed out for a day on unknown trails or about to tackle the local enduro race sight unseen, the Juliana Roubion Carbon GX AXS Eagle Mountain Bike is at the top of our list of worthy steeds. Constructed from the ultra-durable Carbon C layup, this trail slayer is lightweight and responsive for big days of pedaling and slashing berms. Purpose-built around a mixed-wheel setup, the Roubion features a big 29-inch wheel up front for cresting over obstacles with ease and a 27.5-inch wheel out back to keep the bike super playful and agile. 150mm of VPP rear travel is paired to low anti-squat values for unreal rear wheel traction and to make pedaling back up to the top way less of a chore. The longer, slacker geometry ensures the bike remains playful for popping off side hits and sending step-ups while retaining the high-speed stability we demand when tackling gnarly descents. And as always, the Roubion has been tuned for lighter-weight riders compared to its Santa Cruz counterpart, the Bronson.

The reliable SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed electronic drivetrain takes care of the shifting duties with speed and precision while providing a wide gear range so that we're not feeling over or under-geared at any point in our ride. A RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ shock with 150mm of responsive rear travel and 160mm Fox 36 Float Performance Elite fork work together to assist us in riding out bombholes and crushing through gnarly terrain with absolute confidence, while a set of SRAM Code RS brakes allow us to stop on a dime when things get a bit too rowdy. Juliana smartly spec'd a set of Race Face AR Offset 30 wheels laced up with Industry Nine 1/1 hubs to ensure that we don't have to worry about smashed wheels or pinch flats on our ride.
