Can't comment on performance yet, but regarding fit: look is slightly slim but fit is not tight. I have 38" chest, 32" waist and 32" inseam and these fit great in the legs. The stretch panel on the back does cut in a bit more than I would like however it is not uncomfortable or painful even with all layers on, just something you notice. Material feels extremely stretchy and comfortable, and I like that the pockets are lower so if you are wearing a backpack they don't interfere with the hipbelt. One side vent is longer than the other but should still peovide adequate ventilation. If you watch The Good Ride review on YouTube they do a good job of reviewing the pocket layout. Might update after I put it through the ringer a bit.
