Why We Like The MicroMo Stove
Weighing just twelve ounces and packing all the quick-boiling strength of a Jetboil, the MicroMo Personal Cooking System is what we turn to when we need an ultralight backpacking stove that boils water in just over two minutes. The MicroMo has the same wind-blocking shroud that can be found on stoves nearly twice its weight, and we love that it offers reliable cold-weather performance with the ability to run consistently in temperatures down to 20F.

forever ignitor problem
After owning a Jetboil for nearly two decades and frequently encountering ignition problems, I decided to upgrade to the latest model, expecting these issues to be resolved. Unfortunately, the new igniter failed on me, leaving me with a less-than-ideal cold freeze-dried meal experience. Despite this setback, I remain hopeful that Jetboil will address these ignition issues. Overall, when functioning correctly, it's an exceptional stove. I'll make sure to pack a backup lighter for my next adventure.

disappointed
I have a Jetboil I purchased about 20 years ago and used it multiple times, I always had issues with the igniter, I figured JetBoil has figured it out and purchased this new model to my surprise the igniter didn't work and I had to eat some cold freeze dried meal (not good), I hope Jetboil figures out how to fix the igniter issues, other than that is an amazing stove when it works, next time I'll remember to bring a lighter for backup.

Great little stove
Used backpacking around base of Mt. Hood in Oregon. Packs down small and very easy for first time users.

used for paragliding vol-biv
Compact, with nice simmer function. Large (standard) fuel does not fit in the pot of the micro-mo, a consideration when traveling in other countries where the small fuel canisters are not as common (such as India). Overall a decent compromise for size and weight.

Simple, Portable, and will never let you down
I had heard about Jetboil cooking systems for a while, and even seen others use them before I finally went in on this. I opted for the micro mo and have enjoyed the compact footprint, which has allowed to take it backpacking, hunting, or even to class for making a quick ramen snack. I highly recommend this if you’re cooking for 1-2 and want a small, lightweight system.

Best Camping/Hiking purchase ever!
Exactly what my son needed to elevate his camping/hiking experience. Ultra lightweight, starts easily and every time so far, and easy to spot in the woods! Great value, two thumbs way up, 10/10; highly recommend.

LID!!
I recently was gifted this system and it works great besides the lid, which fits so poorly that it will come off when pouring out water creating a massive safety hazard.
