Do It All Winter Protection

This Suit is amazing for all outdoor activities. Full disclosure, we received this suit from Backcountry, but it has been an excellent addition over the last month as the cold temperatures and snow have been somewhat relentless! Our child has been out sledding, digging, even shoveling (!), and it keeps a perfect temperature. The fact that it is one piece means that snow never gets in and the loops at the end of the legs sops snow from dumping into the boots. It has also been great for school as there are no extra parts to lose and it's easy on and off for the staff. Overall, we are really pleased and it is a little big, so there is at least a year or two left in its life cycle for us.

I was given this product from Backcountry, but this review is my personal opinion. The Isbjorn of Sweden Penguin Snowsuit is a great snowsuit! Since receiving this snowsuit my son has worn it to climb woodpiles, roll around the neighborhood and finally on a ski trip. I wasn’t sure it would make it to the ski trip since we received it way before any snow fell and he insisted on putting it on every time he went outside. The quality of the snowsuit is amazing, he’s put it through the wringer and it still looks brand new. It has held up to him carrying logs and climbing on pallets with no snow to pad it. He likes how easy it is for him to get on by himself, and his parents appreciate it too. The Isbjorn of Sweden Penguin Snowsuit kept him super warm and had plenty of mobility while xc skiing. And whenever he fell there was no worrying about snow getting in anywhere since it is one piece! There is plenty of room to grow too which is extra appreciated since kids always seem to shoot up right when you buy them new gear! The only downside for us is that the hood is detachable. If your kid is more responsible than mine and won’t use the hood for a costume and lose it that won’t be a problem. All in all a sturdy, easy to use, warm snowsuit that does exactly what it’s supposed to and then some.
